  • Alec Baldwin as Jack Donaghy - 30 Rock
  • Charlie Sheen as Charlie Harper - Two and A Half Men
Forecast: Three-way between Gervais, Carell & Baldwin. Don't especially care for Sheen. Shalhoub - past winner. Meh.

Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series
  • James Spader as Alan Shore -Boston Legal
  • Hugh Laurie as Dr. Gregory House - House
  • Denis Leary as Tommy Gavin - Rescue Me
  • James Gandolfini as Tony Soprano - The Sopranos

Forecast: Ridiculous list because they overlooked a lot of really good shows for Grey's Anatomy, Boston Legal and maybe even Heroes. Sopranos for the win.
