TV in Development: Jason Bourne on TV & Prison Break Creator's PI Series

Jason Bourne bound for TV?
On CBS, Deadline Hollywood reports that series creator of CSI, Anthony Zuiker, is planning a new series which is said to be inspired by Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne novels. The show will be called, Threadstone, and will feature CIA's black ops arm. It's not even completely in the drawing board, but I'm already giddy for this! TV needs a new kick-ass hero now that Jack Bauer is no longer around.

And on ABC, Paul T. Scheuring, who created Prison Break,  teams up with action director McG for a series that will have a private investigator as the central character. Unlike the more intense characters of Prison Break though, this is the type of detective who learns to do what he's doing  from watching his favorite detective series as a child. Based on information given, I'm guessing this is going to be light and funny but with McG on board, it's going to be action-packed.
