Screw American Idol. I welcome back the mates from down under as Australian Idol begins sometime June-July-Aug. And it's bringing back it's cranky judge, Dicko who was last seen in the 2nd season, only to bow down by the 3rd season. But now he is back in Season 5.And with him plus the remaining guy judges, Kyle and Mark? NO MERCY!

"2006 was a benchmark year for Australian Idol uncovering fantastic new Australian talent, Damien Leith’s chart success is the best result we’ve had to date, with at least six of the other top 12 finding themselves with recording contracts and management deals.
In 2007, the judging panel will be the strongest we’ve had, looking for unique talent and going further than ever before to find it. It’s going to be a thrilling series and all of us can’t wait for it to begin” said Stephen Tate Executive Producer Network Ten.2007 also sees the return of controversial Ian “Dicko” Dickson to the judging chair, he joins Mark Holden, Marcia Hines and Kyle Sandilands."
