Breaking: Cameron is Leaving House

In all honestly, I could actually go with the House that aired last premiere ('twas good TV, that!) and could care less about the rest....oh, as long as Wilson is still there.

This news from NY Daily:

Actress Jennifer Morrison is leaving the Emmy award winning show, according to EW.com.

Though neither Fox nor Morrison's reps would confirm the departure, EW.com reports the blonde beauty did not quit, but instead is likely being written out of the script as a creative

decision on the part of the producers.

Distraught fans might find some solace in the fact that Morrison's character, Dr. Alice Cameron - a main member of Dr. House's diagnostic team - will supposedly not be killed off the way Kutner (played by Kal Penn) was last season.

Additionally, inside sources say that Dr. Cameron's husband, Dr. Robert Chase (played by Jesse Spencer) will not be departing the cast, leaving plenty of room for suspicion about what's in store for both characters.

"House" devotees might recall that it was only a few months back that series creator David Shore told EW.com that "Chase and Cameron fans will be happy with the way we're going to reintegrate them into the team."

Even Morrison herself admitted that she was looking forward to the new season, telling EW. com, "I have been working a lot. And there are things that happen to 'House' very early in the season that have a domino effect on all of the other characters."

So much for that idea, it seems.

Season 6 of "House" premiered Monday on Fox, with House confined to a mental hospital for his Vicodin addiction and frequent hallucinations.

Happy 100th, House!

There will be no House this week because TV has to give way to real life and cover the elections.

Nevertheless, production is still on-going. The cast and crew are still filming upcoming episodes. In fact, the medical series has just finished filming their 100th and celebrated this milestone.

Despite the slight dip in the ratings, House is still solid as ever. Happy 100th!

Check what these TV doctors had to use to slice and eat the cake!

Whee! Happy, happy! Joy, joy!

What did this kiss mean, House?

House S5 E4 Birthmark

And this episode worked because...

Wilson is back. Awww they do love each other.

The eulogy. This episode's story. Everything = worked.

House's daddy is James Bond.

The chemistry between Hugh Laurie and Robert Sean Leonard. How awesome are they together? AWESOME!

The original trio? Also back. Or at least Chase, Cameron and Foreman got back to doing differentials (which they haven't done in a loooong time...and is that what they call it? Differentials?)

Thirteen is Bubbles. Whihihi.

Mmmmbop ringtone. Thinking of getting one for my phone.

Paranoid Wilson. Or Boy Scout Wilson. However you wanna call it, Wilson's got a trunk fully prepared for an evacuation!

Glad I decided to watch this one last, before I go to bed tonight. I have a sweet, goofy smile on my face. This episode was perfect TV! Made my day.

Thank you, House writers, for making this show ever so wonderful.

House S5 EP1 - Dying Changes Everything

Oh dear lordy. Wilson broke up with House!!! What can I say? I am too sad for words. The bromance is over! Cuddy was nearly gonna pull her hair out trying to help these two patch up. Going into "counselling" was an amusing scene. And I chuckled every time someone said the word, "idiot".

For a season opener though? This whole episode was brilliant. House is still that bloody ass who is never going to change. Nearly everyone had screen time (yay!) and Thirteen had her side story....which means we'll get to see more of this a lot this season.

Anyway, the bromance? This was how tonight ended:

Wilson to House ---
We're not okay...Amber was never the reason I was leaving. I didn't wanna tell you because....because I was trying, like I always do, to protect you.

Which is the problem.

You spread misery cause you can't feel anything else. You manipulate people because you can't handle any real relationship and I've enabled it. For years, the games, the binges, the middle of the night phone calls. I should've been the one on the bus, not Amber...You should've been alone on the bus.

If I learned anything from Amber is that I have to take care of myself.

We're not friends anymore, House. I'm not sure we ever were.

Cutthroat Bitch is Pregnant!

Anne Dudek is glowing these days. The woman who played Cutthroat Bitch or Amber on House last season is expecting her first born with husband Matthew Heller. She is on her second tri-mester and is craving for cheese and sleep pretty much.

Of course, her character has been killed on House but you can still watch her on Big Love in January. It's a show about this man with many wives who are always pregnant. And I don't think they're going to hide her baby bump for this. They will be shooting for the new season soon.

Missing House

Just had to throw this out there...

I am missing House.

And Hugh Laurie.

So thanks for this one.

House Season 5 Teaser

What is up with House?

Here's a short, short teaser...the phrase, "I'm resigning" jolted me back to my senses. I've been off TV this weekend; it has been really booooring. Can't wait for new episodes.

Two more months...

Finale Watch: House, MD

Confession: everytime House's theme song comes up...I get misty-eyed. That's how emotionally connected I am to the show. I bring this up because, as you've probably read or heard by now, House's season ender left a lot of us shell-shocked and in tears.

Was I expecting Amber to die? In a way, yes. What I wasn't expecting were those moments that took place before she died...

Some quarters are saying this is an Emmy moment. I'm suddenly happy for Anne Dudek. (Here's another trivia for you --- she was Precious, Mike Hannigan's girlfriend after Phoebe, on Friends!)

I'm not going to speculate on what is going to happen between Wilson and House next season. But I'm certain repairing their friendship will be rough. He was the cause of Wilson's girlfriend's death, that's not something easy to get over. For House's part --- that guilt is not easy to carry.

And for my sake, I've got to read about what Amantadine does to the body!

Next season, House comes back with a new cast member. Read all about it here.

House's Head Videos

I was hoping to write about House's finale next week, when its 2nd part is aired (Episode Title: Wilson's Heart). So, I'm just going to post the videos of the 1st part (Episode Title: House's Head) I got off Youtube.

It's Cuddy's strip tease dream sequence (sexy, hot, weird, awkward) and the bus accident where House was one of the passengers and he was with someone very important (whoa!)...SPOILER ALERT.

My dear Watson! A House Spin-Off?!

Can they get Damian Lewis for this?

Ausiello says:
Fox, in collaboration with producer NBC Universal, is quietly developing a House spin-off for next season. As I understand it, producers are introducing a new male character for a multi-episode arc and, assuming the actor they find really pops in the role, he may be spun off into his own show. But there's a twist, and it's a big one: Per multiple sources, this newbie is not a doctor, but rather a private investigator!

House, M.D. - Season Three

07 May 2008

A stressful Wednesday and yesterday's comedies...

Heyi-ho! I hate to open this entry with a rant, but here I go... I don't think I've ever said this but I hate Wednesdays. Oh, wait...maybe I did. The way I rant and complain about the littlest things? I probably did already say I hate Wednesdays.

I work tons of jobs, plus I work at home, without a maid. So I keep two hats on. Sometimes three, sometimes four.

The most important of my work is this fambiz (family business) I have to oversee one-two days a week. And Wednesdays happen to be the most important day for it --- paperwork, phone calls, follow-ups, yadda yadda. All on Wednesdays.

Which means, I would have little time to do other things. Like my other jobs or like watching my shows.

It's a good thing I've only got American Idol to tune to on a Wednesday. Imagine if this were a regular TV season.

Today has been especially stressful and I won't have to bore you with the details but let's just say I hope it's Thursday already. Or Friday. Or the weekend. I just hate Wednesdays!

Anyway, yesterday was Comedy Monday (Tuesday, really.... since we're a day ahead than the States). I tuned to Two and A Half Men out of curiosity. They did a CSI Crossover. I'm not a regular viewer of the show. No need to wonder why ---- it sucks! And I'm gonna watch CSI this week (when I don't really follow this show that well anymore) just to satisfy my curiosity.

The Big Bang Theory this week featured Sheldon's gorgeous fraternal Twin Sister. Who would've thought they'd come from the same egg? And the boys treated her like a goddess, they made a fool of themselves.

Samantha Who? was a riot. She rounded up her gal pals and stalked her mom, who she suspected was having an affair, which wasn't the case. On the other hand, Sam is actually having an affair with her ex-boyfriend. Ooooh. Bad, Sammy!

Sarah Chalke was back on How I Met Your Mother. She really has grown as an actress over the years, (I'm currently re-watching her other show, Scrubs Season 2, as well). Her comedic timing is flawless. Barney, meanwhile, is looking for a new wingman since he and Ted had a falling out. His new wingman is that guy from SNL and he's brilliant. Watch:

House abducted his favorite daytime soap opera star upon suspicion he's sick and probably dying. House of course is right and they save his life. I love the fact that House is so addicted to his TV shows. Just like me.

So, okay...that's it for now.

It's still a Wednesday, the day's not done. I've still got work to finish. Ugh.

Oh, wait --- if you're on Multiply, please add me up.

How did this happen???

I'm suddenly swamped with things to do and with little time to do it. Dunno how it happened... I've not been behind but I've been struggling with keeping a schedule. Is the summer weather pushing me to slack?

Anyway... weirdness:

On House. First episode back after the strike and I do not know what went wrong. House and Cutthroat Bitch fight for custody of Wilson. How did that happen? Why did that have to happen. And why is Wilson not saying something about it, that wuss. Not the best episode ever.

On How I Met Your Mother. Ted shows real feelings of disappointment over Barney sleeping with Ted's ex. It's weird to see that knowing how convoluted plot developments are in this series. But I like that he reacted that way and showed, actual, human emotions.

On Samantha Who? Things are getting weird for Sam and her ex-boyfriend Todd. Are they getting back together? I've been asking this question since the 3rd episode back.

On American Idol tonight, which I haven't seen yet but have already read about. Simon called it the weirdest show yet, on account of Paula.

On Law and Order SVU tonight --- it's gonna be the the first time I'm watching this show straight after it's airing, I usually just try to catch delayed episodes on cable. The reason? Robin Williams is the guest actor....so, I can't wait to see that.

They finally said it: Wilson is dating House!

From House's last episode (S4 E12)...

House: Oh, my God. What are you two doing here? I just had a sudden yen for fusion.
Wilson: (talking to Amber) I put a different restaurant in my date book. I’m firing my assistant.
Amber: That’s ok. Hi, Greg. And I call you Greg because now we’re social equals.
House: And I call you Cutthroat Bitch. I don’t try to hide what an ass I am.
Amber: I assume you’d like to join us? It’ll be easier to observe our interaction if you’re at the same table.
Wilson: If we ever get seated.
Amber: Excuse me.
Wilson: (Amber walks towards the host) No, no!

House: Look, now she’s going to hit him in the face with your testicles.
Wilson: She tends to treat…. She tends to treat every event like it’s the last copter out of Saigon.
House: She’s the Anti-Wilson. A force for evil.
Wilson: She has an annoying quality. Maybe two. If I was perfect, I’d date perfect.
Amber waved to them to join her at a table.
House: You liked that!
Wilson: It’s annoying, but she’s good at it.
House: Wait a second, you like her personality. You like that she’s conniving. You like that she has no regard for consequences. You like that she can humiliate someone if it serves… Oh my God! You’re sleeping with me.

House has a crush...

...and she's, like, Mighty Aphrodite.

Mira Sorvino guest stared on House yesterday with a medical case inspired from a true story.

House had to treat her via webcam, since she is stationed at the South Pole and can't easily be transported back. I thought that it was one of their best episodes yet; it also had the funniest dialogues. There were far fewer episodes with the new ducklings and more of House. And Wilson's got a new girlfriend, House curiously wanted to find out who it is. Wilson didn't want to tell him that he had to literally run away from House (which was so funny!) | Recap here.

Foreman: He's annoyed by her, doesn't respect her as a doctor, constantly insults her...
Wilson: That's House's version of "courtship"
Foreman: Oh, god. He's been wooeing me for years!
Wilson: She's the perfect woman for him --- willing to literally go to the end of the earth, making her unavailable for a real relationship. And she's afflicted with a mysterious illness.

House demands for cableTV at the hospital, since he's missing watching Law & Order in Korean:
House: Coma guy needs cable. Women's billiards is the only thing that is keeping him alive.
Cameron: I'm sure Carlson will be moved by his plight.
House: Carlson won't listen coz I hit on his wife.
Cameron: You knew?
House: God no, I thought I was hitting on his daughter. You're on the committee, he'll listen to you. I'm an avid reader of "Committees with Hotties" message boards. Studies conducted in major hospitals indicate that happy patients recover faster. Studies conducted in my apartment show that TV makes people happy. Premium channels, particularly striking effect.
Cameron: Charging patients for cable bring in $13,000 a month.
House: Until this injustice is righted, I am going to waste $13,000 a day....
Cameron: I am not giving you cable. You'd have to somehow survive with broadcast networks.
House: I'll be fine on Tuesdays...
(House airs on Tuesday nights)

House: You're wearing a lavender shirt, so you're dressing for somebody.
Wilson: The Medical Board. They frown on shirtless Oncology.

House: Cut throat bitch?
Wilson: I call her Amber.

30 January 2008

I've missed this guy, too!

...and he will be back tonight. Whoohoo! Here's the preview:

And there's a spoiler going around, Cutthroat Bitch will be back coz she's dating Wilson. Bwaha.

Wheee!
